The Government Of Moscow
Moscow traces its history back to 1147, when it was mentioned in the chronicles for the first time. Moscow’s territory more than doubled, to reach a total of 255,000 hectares, and the population grew by 233,000 people as a result. It expanded to include two municipalities, , Troitsk and Shcherbinka, and 19 urban and rural towns, which until that point were part of the Moscow Region’s Leninsky, Narofominsk and Podolsk districts.
