In 2019 Mr. Vezvaei has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Management
Board of Ecolog International, a leading provider of integrated solutions and services in logistics, supply
chain, construction, technology, facility management and environmental applications.
He is also serving as a Member of the Board of nd Venture, a private Equity with global focus on Fintech
Prior to this, Mr. Vezvaei served as the President & CEO of Bilfinger SE in the Middle East. Bilfinger SE is
a multibillion dollar stock-listed engineering and services provider, operating in various sectors from oil
and gas to bio pharma and infrastructure. In parallel, he led Tebodin Middle East (a Bilfinger Company),
a leading design, engineering and project management company.
Earlier, he served as the President of Linde AG Engineering across the MENA, leading the firm’s business
and companies in the region. Borouge, the world’s largest ethane gas cracker, was one of the several
flagship projects successfully executed for Linde across MENA.
Before joining the Linde Group, Mr. Vezvaei worked for over a decade at the German conglomerate,
Siemens AG, where he held various regional and global leadership positions such as the Global Senior
Vice President of Siemens Oil&Gas (SOG), Energy-Oil&Gas Division Cluster CEO in the MENA region and
Siemens Energy-Oil&Gas Division’s Global Vice President for Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions.
With many years of experience as a senior executive in Energy, Services and Technology sectors, Vezvaei
has also been well associated with the Arab – German business world and serves as the Member of the
Board of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Vezvaei has been recognized and awarded as one of the top executive leaders in the MENA region
by the renowned Forbes magazine for two consecutive years. He has also been selected in 2018 amongst
the top 50 CEOs in the Petrochemical and Chemical sector in the Middle East.
He co-authored a 2014 GRC Cambridge-published paper on Transforming GCC's O&G industry into the
21st century. The Cambridge also published another paper on clean energy solutions for the GCC
He has accomplished his Executive Education at Harvard Business School as well as University of Oxford
- Said Business School - and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
